CM Punk has re-emerged from the ether as a key merch mover. Immediately after his comeback, WWE released his customized T-shirt for fans, and it came out drawing the highest numbers in sales. That said, now Punk has his record toppled by none other than John Cena’s former rival, R Truth.

The veteran is already a big part of the WWE discussion after his recent antics with Judgement Day. On this note, his epic feat didn’t only ruin Punk’s spot, it also wreaked havoc on John Cena‘s classic record. That said, Truth saw it as nothing more than a collective win.

John Cena has always been among the top crowd pullers to his featured T-shirts, contributing to WWE’s fund for years. Last year, he came in the top 4 on the list but lost his spot to R Truth, with whom he shared a ring as well as a studio for recording an unreleased song in the past.

Truth came up with an honest and generous answer. He noted, ‘That was a shock that was a shock to me and I don’t get shocked that easy in this business you know what I’m saying, like that was a shock to me. ”

”That’s my childhood hero man I got that power pet from him I used to watch his dog every Saturday morning you know what I’m saying, I, I’m not the leader, everybody I’m not the leader but I don’t think we really need a leader everybody on their own, you know what I’m saying, but we are a good group dog sticking together” the 51-year-old came clean-hearted.

Given that both the stars are now back in the lore with all their demonstrated past and mutual admiration toward each other, they can team up to rekindle their old magic. But Truth’s ongoing attempt to align with The Judgement Day makes that idea somewhat far-fetched.
