The former WWE champion joined the Fast and Furious franchise in 2021 for their ninth installment. He made his debut as the estranged brother of Vin Diesel’s character Dominik, Jakob Toretto. Following his successful stint in Fast 9, Cena was summoned back for the sequel, Fast X to reprise his character.

The interesting part came during the time John Cena was filming with the Fast crew. The Champ found himself across the street from Margot Robbie, who was in the middle of shooting “Barbie” at the same time. Cena recollected the incident about running into Robbie while the duo was on neighboring sets during a recent appearance on the Today Show.

Cena said, “We literally randomly ran into each other as friends and … she was filming across the street … Fast 10 was filming across the street from Barbie.”

Cena further stated that Margot herself gave him the idea to join the cast of Barbie to which he revealed that he already had been pitching for it. The Cenation Leader concluded by crediting Robbie for helping her land a role in the movie.
