During a recent episode of his podcast, ‘Kliq This’, Kevin Nash talked about a lot of things. But one thing to not miss out on is the former WWE personality’s apology to the SmackDown star. When Nash called Knight a rip-off of The Rock earlier, he seemed confident in his belief. But it wasn’t until recently that he saw his potential and took a U-turn.
He also mentioned that since Knight is helping WWE, which Nash is a stakeholder in, do better, he doesn’t have a problem with him.
The 64-year-old started by saying, “If LA Knight, if the people, if he’s the chosen one, if he’s the people’s champion, then he’s the people’s champion, it doesn’t f*king matter to me.” Moving on, he added, “It was just one of those things where I don’t watch SmackDown, so dude, I didn’t know who the f**k you were, and I apologize.”
The retired pro wrestler admitted that his opinion of Knight’s character wasn’t thorough as he didn’t watch him on SmackDown. However, coming to know about the benefit he is bringing to the company, he thought it would be best to apologize. It is to be noted that LA Knight recently broke into WWE’s top five merchandise sellers in June behind only Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Steve Austin.
This statement could help LA Knight in his public image and also with his ‘wrestler’s pride’.
