After a massive loss in the Tuesday Night war last week, AEW Dynamite bounced back in stunning fashion. However, Tony Khan still faces scrutiny due to his outgoing remarks on his competition.

The episode brought out a shocker for fans as the WWE Hall of Famer Sting revealed his retirement plan. The Icon announced that his last dance in the AEW ring would take place at Revolution 2024. Although the segment was supposed to be a huge draw, the reality inside the arena showed the reverse. Visibly vacated seats inside the hall made fans turn on Khan again on social media.

AEW Dynamite overcame the shame of last week in terms of better viewership and ratings 

Despite the humiliating viewership graph last week, this week’s ratings and viewership data favor the Jacksonville-based company. According to the official source, an action-jacked Dynamite fetched 901,000 viewers and a .31 rating with the 18-49-year-old demographic. These numbers are way more than the past week’s statistics. Also, it pulled out better than what Dynamite did in the weeks prior to the Tuesday Night War.

That said, it didn’t bring any change to the AEW head honcho’s public image, as another humiliating scenario was laid open to the camera.

Although the said hype might be for Sting’s segment, fans think he deserves better treatment.

Owing to the fact that the crowd looked really thin inside the arena, Khan again ended up being in the critiques gunpoint.
