CM Punk just walked away with a glorious victory from the MSG arena against Dominik Mysterio. Punk made his shell a shocking comeback to the world’s biggest wrestling promotion last month.

Now, he’s slated to have a more iconic second stint, winning his first-ever match in the company’s ring upon his return. It was all every CM Punk fan ever wanted. That said, some fans are still upset not seeing Punk in a more ideal gear. They let their feelings know regarding the gear expectations, shifting the attention from a rather predictive win.

CM Punk’s ordinary gear at MSG tonight stirred discussion among fans

Wrestling gear is a thing of utter importance. It sets the tone of a character and the match. But with Punk’s gear tonight, fans aren’t convinced at all. They found it a bit off the place. There was enough hype about Punk returning his iconic gear from Money in the Bank 2011. But it didn’t materialize, the Second City Saint came out in a rather generic trunk as his original chosen one doesn’t fit at the last minute.

Fans rushed to the social media wall to vent about it.

Fans seem confused regarding his gear choice.

Someone rightly pointed out that there must be an issue and found it pretty odd on Punk.

However, surprisingly, a fan found it rather cool as he deems it to be a nostalgic attire that carries his ECW days vibes.

Moving ahead, the most important thing is still that Punk won the match regardless of his slightly altered attire.

However, despite his gear at the WWE show tonight not stirring positive responses, Punk’s merchandise is riding in sky-high demand.

CM Punk’s return has sparked a sharp surge in demand for his merchandise, with items reportedly being sold at an exceptional rate.

The Seventh City Saint, who drafted himself at RAW after returning, made his position firm as a fan-favorite superstar leading into WrestleMania, getting a huge push from the company. So, quite obviously, every CM Punk fan wants to get a piece of him

But since the lower supply side, fans are having a hard time getting theirs booked.  Punk made a sincere apology to his fans for the unexpected inconvenience.
