“So Cena Main Eventing?”: WrestleMania Night 1 & 2 Match Card Announcement Leaves Thousands Perplexed

WrestleMania has been the biggest event of WWE since forever. The immense hype that the event carries is what makes it the most popular. The reason for this hype in particular is that how it holds only the most popular stars on the roster. The heaviest of ongoing storylines also make the night worth sitting down for. With this being said, WWE has also laid out the match cards for WrestleMania 39 Night One and Night Two.

Fans can’t stop going through the cards presented by the promotion. However, a lot of fans are also confused regarding the order of the matches.

John Cena vs Austin Theory match announcement confuses fans

The Prototype returned to WWE in March on Monday Night Raw. His entry blew up all records. During the night, he made an impactful return while also accepting the WrestleMania challenge of WWE United States Champion, Austin Theory, for a match.

The match has now been confirmed to take place at WrestleMania 39. This made fans go wild.

Earlier Cena vs Theory was reported to start Night One action of WrestleMania 39. But the card presented by the promotion places the US Title match at the top, a position usually reserved for the main event match of the night.

Furthermore, this left fans perplexed about other matches on the card and they had a lot to say on social media regarding the same.

A fan asked with genuine confusion, “so Cena main eventing?”

“Why is the Reigns Rhodes match kicking off night 2? Should be the main event, not the women’s showcase match.”

Reactions.

“Theory is main eventing with Cena???”

“Is this the confirmed order of events or is that tbc?”

“So John and theory are main eventing night one?”

“How come Cody and Roman is not the main event for 2?”

“Wonder what was taking so long to put the cards together.”

“This is the Vince influence. Not the matches, just that the card’s biggest match is in the mid.”

“Not what we want but ok no issues. Good card though.”

Some cards are not being appreciated by fans at all. Moreover, despite various turn-downs of Vince McMahon’s involvement in WWE’s creatives, fans are still not hopping on to that theory.

“Roman vs Cody match should have a special guest referee.”

“Roman vs Cody is gonna be the biggest main event battle that gonna happen of all time.”

Fans have seemed to pick their new favorite match apart from the Cena-Theory brawl. Which is going to be preferred more?

Somebody commented, “All I want is for Dom to completely ruin Rey!” There is definitely a whole fanbase for this storyline.

“Go back to 1 night… 2 nights are so boring.”

A fan also seems to wish to have WrestleMania go back to being a one-night event.

“Why did they split it into two nights from just the regular one-show format? HOF night on Saturday and WrestleMania the next.”

This year has built up a lot of amazing storylines. Moreover, some cards will make up for a lot of entertainment. The hype stays true to the event in every possible way.
