Fans in the Mohammed Abdu Arena got their money’s worth as they were witness to one of the WWE’s best PLEs in a long time. They not only got to witness Logan Paul winning his first-ever WWE Championship but also got to see The Tribal Chief win and continue his record-unbeaten title run. But as all this took all the limelight at Crown Jewel, there were 3 other events that happened that are definitely worthy of your attention.

Fans were eager to see the battle between Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship. Everyone knew how desperately Belair wanted to win that title after it was clinched from her within just a few minutes of winning it at SummerSlam. Belair put on a tremendous fight and at one point, it even looked like she was almost going to win the match.

That was until she was about to give a K.O.D. to an interfering Bayley on the announcer’s table and was stopped by someone who fans were totally shocked to see. Bayley was pulled down by none other than the returning Kairi Sane. Belair was confused as to why Sane was saving the leader of Damage CTRL. Bayley was actually responsible for Sane’s exit from the WWE after her brutal backstage attack in July 2020. And not just that, she even went on to attack Belair twice during the match. Thus giving Sky a chance to deliver a Moonsault and retain her title. Does this mean that Sane has forgiven Bayley and will join Damage CTRL? Only time will tell.

Logan Paul’s post-match few-second conversation with Rey

Logan Paul has built a social media following by trash-talking his opponents and mocking them. He tried to do the same with Rey Mysterio by tapping him on his head like a 5-year-old during their weigh-in on SmackDown. But Mysterio got back by not just slapping him, but also hitting Paul’s head with the microphone. Thus, Paul was definitely furious coming into the title match at Crown Jewel.

And he used the same anger to exact revenge on Rey Mysterio for that slap and eventually won the United States Championship last night. This is Logan Paul’s first-ever championship in the WWE after he made his debut in April 2022. As fans never knew whether to cheer or mourn post the match, Paul did something that was very unlike him.

After doing his victory lap in the ring with his new title, Paul went straight to an injured Mysterio and comfortingly held his head, saying, “You’re a legend. I’ll just do what I have to do my man. You’re a legend Rey, I love you”. This is definitely the first time that fans have got to see the emotional side of Logan Paul. Does that mean that he will now stop being a heel after winning the title? We will only have to wait and watch.

Paul getting all emotional post the match was not the only time The Maverick acted like a true hero. During his intense clash with Rey Mysterio, both superstars showed why they are seen as the top stars in the high-flying category in the WWE.

But during the match, Paul did something that Mysterio will definitely be thankful for the rest of his wrestling career. While trying to deliver a Moonsault after jumping off the side ropes, Mysterio was about to land on his head. But Paul caught him in time and converted that into a clean power slam. Fans noticed this caring gesture of Paul and took to Twitter to show their appreciation. One fan even said, “Omg!!! #logan paul saves #ReyMysterio from Neck Injury”.
