Jade Cargill is now officially a WWE superstar. The 32-year-old former TBS Champion snubbed the bigger paycheck by Tony Khan to join forces with the rival promotion at Fastlane last night. Although she has yet to engage in her first match under the company ring, her arrival has created a buzz already. From big WWE entities to astute fans, we have seen notable wrestling personalities weighing in on the massive roster addition.

Following suit with the majority, Raw superstar Raquel Rodriguez also broke the silence on what she thinks about it in a candid chat.

Cargill kick-started her wrestling journey with AEW back in 2020 and quickly rose to the status of a promising asset. After two years of a roller coaster run, she quite decided to give her career a new flair, especially after her loss to Kris Statlander on an episode of Rampage.

Finally, it culminated in her staggering WWE debut last night from Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse to a grand reception. The former Jacksonville University basketball player is now on her way to setting the Stamford-based company on fire. However, a perked-up Rodriguez seems to be more than ready to compete.

Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, the 32-year-old noted, ‘‘I think it is great. Like we were talking about, our women’s division is growing. We are main-eventing different shows on all of the platforms, all the way across. So to get another talent from an outside company to come in, and she’s got such a massive following.”

” And she’s just adding to the list of big girls that someone has got to squash, probably me. I think it is great. It is great to have this kind of competition in the women’s division and have this star power,” Rodriguez continued.

However, Rodriguez isn’t alone in experiencing elation at the prospect of facing the former AEW star in the ring in the future. Rather, it seems like many other marquee names like Cody Rhodes are also looking forward to seeing her perform for the company.

Ever since Triple H let the world know about Cargill’s impending arrival, the speculation and plans for her future in the company have been rife. Cody Rhodes wasn’t an exception. It’s more so because the American Nightmare has a special connection with the Jade Cargill, as she used to be a part of his Nightmare Factory in the past.

The one-half of the newly crowned Undisputed tag team champion noted that he’s super proud of having someone new in the business from his own training center. He further wrung out his faith in Cargill, saying she would surely rise to the business overcoming all the inevitable challenges in the process.
