While talking about how he got into Rocky III’s cast, Hogan sidetracked into another exciting story on the podcast, ‘Full Send’. Hogan revealed to the hosts about his detour to Japan before he got the Rocky III role. He mentioned that he had planned to stay in the country for only 4 weeks but ended up staying for 8 weeks.
While giving the hosts the reason for his overdue stay, Hogan said, “I had a hot girl over there I was dating at the time. I went over there to shoot a video with a band called Pink Cloud. I needed some models so there was a Ford modeling agency and there was a Folio modeling agency.”
After that, Hogan explains how he contacted the Folio agency. Then he mentions that the lady on the call advised him to meet for lunch. Hogan continued, “So when we met it’s like five foot ten gorgeous Japanese girl walked in and she was built like some American supermodel.”

Staying for double the time that he intended, this Japanese woman made Hogan appreciate Japanese culture as well, something that he mentions later in the interview. But this isn’t the first time that Hogan’s meetings with women have sparked headlines.

Whether it was to create a comedic segment or just lose on purpose, Hogan made that woman’s day by losing to her. So, it’s pretty certain that Hogan is a true gentleman despite recent years of controversies.
