It is safe to call Dwayne Johnson a ‘gentle giant.’ While the star stands tall at an impressive and intimidating stature, he does show his soft side on multiple occasions. Whether it be surprising his fans or helping people in need, the 51-year-old star oftentimes deviates from his former in-ring persona. The first glimpse of this might have been when Johnson started fulfilling the wishes of terminally ill children as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation years ago. And even after all these years, he still knows how to make those kids feel special.

Dwayne Johnson turns into an absolute sweetheart

In an Instagram post shared by the former WWE Champion, he is seen with Adelaide Bomberger, a 17-year-old teen whose lifelong wish of meeting Johnson was fulfilled by the foundation. In the post, The Brahma Bull shared how Bomberger always wanted to meet Johnson and defeat him in a match of arm wrestling. She was finally able to achieve this dream of hers as she defeated the champion and claimed victory.

In the many pictures shared by Johnson, the two can be seen having a conversation, while sharing some laughs. Along with defeating Johnson, she also wanted to share a ‘bald head touch handshake’ with the star. Johnson made sure no wish of hers remained unfulfilled. Johnson has been actively involved with the foundation. The organization that has been granting wishes to kids suffering from terminal illnesses, started back in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. Now they have their centers in almost 50 countries spanning five continents.

This post was shared by Johnson a few days after his ‘impromptu’ trip to Universal Studios. As a part of the wish-fulfilling process, the organization made arrangements for 17 children who have been suffering from terminal illnesses to visit Universal Studios in Los Angeles along with their families. Little did they know that they were going to have a surprising tour guide with them.

At the theme park, the kids and their families noted that Johnson was walking towards them. While many believed he might just stop by to greet them, he hopped on the tour bus to ride along with them.
