Since Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions 2023, he’s been in a feud with Priest and Finn Bálor. Both members of TJD are looking to win the title from Rollins. During this week’s RAW episode, Rollins teamed up with Sami Zayn to take on Priest and Dominik Mysterio. The match started chaotic, with Rollins and Zayn attacking Judgment Day before getting into the ring.

Once the match started, Rollins and Zayn worked perfectly to put the numbers game at bay. After hitting Rollins with The Razor’s Edge, Priest looked at the MITB briefcase. Finn Bálor picked it up before he went out to get it. However, he hesitated to hand it over. In a brilliant bit of visual storytelling, Bálor’s hesitation to hand the case over gave Rollins enough time to super-kick Priest in the face. Following this with the Curb Stomp, Rollins and Zayn picked up the victory.

After the match, Priest had his face covered with his hand with blood over his chest. It could’ve been the super kick connected with the briefcase Priest held in front of the face or the Curb Stomp that led to him being busted open. This was another loss for The Judgment Day. Furthermore, the tension between Bálor and Priest is clearly escalating.

Since Bálor has had quite a few losses, this seems to be the best opportunity to revitalize his streak with an appearance of the Demon King.
