With the old president gone, WWE’s partnership may be affected
Endeavor, WWE’s parent company, had a deal with TNA to be the on-demand distributor for TNA+. As a result, we saw Triple H partnering up with the company to bring Jordynne Grace to Royal Rumble 2024’s opening event. But since, at the time, Scott D’Amore was the president, things may not be the same now.

According to PWInsider, Scott D’Amore was heavily involved with Triple H, trying to strengthen their partnership even more after the women’s Royal Rumble event. Eventually, he was let go by the company as his contract came to an end. The same reports also suggested that this decision was directly influenced by Len Asper, the owner of Anthem Sports and Entertainment Inc., the parent company of TNA.
Now, the company has given this post to Anthony Cicione who will be heading TNA as the president from now on. Rather than heading the company in its corner, Cicione will have to work directly under Anthem Sports.

Since D’Amore is no longer in power, despite being in the company since 2003, the WWE partnership is under Cicione’s command. The last time we saw the partnership between the two promotions was at Royal Rumble 2024. Wrestling fans appreciated the booking for the women’s event because of Jordynne Grace’s surprise. It also made fans hopeful about what was to come. In fact, Triple H’s comments at the conference assured us that something similar may happen in the future.
Now, that we know Anthem let go of D’Amore, it could’ve been because of his ties with WWE, and it might have been unacceptable to the parent company. If this is the case, then Cicione won’t be doing much to work on the rapport between him and Paul Levesque either.
