Pro wrestling fans and the WWE Universe have been grappling with several speculations about the next move of Sasha Banks. The Boss has been part of several rumors that say that she will end up up either in WWE or AEW. While fans couldn’t figure out what to believe and what to ignore, they seem to have found their answer in the most unsatisfactory way.

The rumors of a comeback involving Sasha Banks have taken social media by storm since August 2023. Many were excited about Banks’s return after a change in WWE’s management. However, Tony Khan’s AEW was also at the ready to take the 7x WWE Women’s Champion under its wing. But, the curtains to what happens next have been lifted just days before the show.

Wrestle Ops recently added a tweet on X showcasing an image of the online activity of Mercedes Mone’s X account. The tweet carried an image where Sasha Banks had liked a tweet by Fade Away Media that said, “Happy birthday see you Saturday.” The news of this has now spread like wildfire in the pro wrestling community, sending fans into a maddening frenzy.

Many are extremely delighted by this news and are looking forward to seeing her at the Royal Rumble now. But WWE is trying to do the same strategy that they did with CM Punk. However, her return will not carry the kind of impact which WWE had captured when CM Punk made his comeback.
