The go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown brought out a surprising alteration to the Survivor Series card by replacing Carlito with Dragon Lee in the match with a deceitful Santos Escobar. But it seems like it won’t be an easy deal for the 28-year-old to launch a serious threat to Escobar.
Escobar left LWO despite being the one to bring back the faction, but it looks like he could soon have a new stable of his own.

Rey Mysterio bore another major betrayal as Escobar suddenly turned on him a few weeks ago. Escobar left the Hall of Famer with a brutal bruise, leaving him unable to fire back. But Carlito stood up for him and took up the challenge to fight Escobar at Survivor Series and it was confirmed but circumstances changed on the recent edition of SmackDown. Escobar brutally assaulted Carlito outside the ring and backstage, leaving him unable to compete at Survivor Series. Dragon Lee made the save for him tonight in the face of a vicious Escobar assault and ended up replacing an injured Carlito for the Survivor Series match.

Lee’s bout against Escobar will mark his debut match at a WWE Premium Live Event. However, the latest rumors mills suggested Escobar could get leverage against his opponent getting the former tag team Los Lotharios on his board.
Escober’s old Legado Del Fantasma followers Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde chose to stand apart after he turned on Mysterio. But that doesn’t mean he will be all by himself at Survivor Series. It seems Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo will be back on the main roster to help Escobar.
Also, according to wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, female star, Elektra Lopez could join The Garzas and give Escobar’s squad a formidable contender to combat Zelina Vega.
Nevertheless, all these potential additions to Escobar’s team are outright speculative and we are a few hours away from unveiling the reality.

Is WWE preparing Dragon Lee for a massive push?
Mysterio and Dragon Lee shared subsequent in-ring time together in the past. In fact, The Master of 619 put his trust in the 28-year-old NXT star to teach Dominik Mysterio a good lesson. Although Lee couldn’t get the upper hand, he didn’t fall from the good grace of Mysterio.
Now, with the Hall of the Famer nearing the end of long illustrious his career, Dave Meltzer opines WWE is looking to make Lee his ideal replacement and preparing a major push for the star. He also predicted Lee’s possible intervention into the LWO affairs which came out true tonight.
