Cody Rhodes secured the men’s Royal Rumble again this year, allowing him to secure a rematch against Roman Reigns. As Rhodes’ arc for ‘completing his story’ draws closer, fans are getting more and more excited. However, their excitement was stopped by Seth Rollins when he decided to reignite his rivalry with Cody Rhodes, even though there was nothing to start with.

Both Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes have faced each other on multiple occasions ever since the latter returned to WWE following his AEW run. The two have even been on the same team at Survivor Series ’23. However, it looks like Seth Rollins hasn’t had enough fun in his reign as the World Heavyweight Champion. The reigning superstar decided to challenge Cody Rhodes using a Twitter video.

On his account, Rollins uploaded a compilation video of several moments, including ones of Cody Rhodes and himself separately. There is also a voiceover done by the champion himself.

The voiceover says, “So tell me, Cody. What do you wanna talk about? I know what I wanna talk about. I wanna know where your heart lies. Is your heart set on out-manipulating Roman Reigns? Or would you like to try and out-wrestle Seth Freakin’ Rolls? What kinda champion do you wanna be?”

This narrative is a way of trying to provoke Cody Rhodes into facing him. Using his own twisted techniques, Rollins is trying to drop his former rival’s morale before he faces “The Tribal Chief”.

As a result, this fired up several WWE fans who had been waiting to see Cody Rhodes ‘finish his story’. In the comment section of the Twitter post, we can see several reactions dragging Seth Rollins for these antics.
