The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is one of the most toughest and destructive superstars on the current WWE roster. He has come a long way in his career and had to struggle a lot while fighting several battles of his own before making it big.
After a failed football career due to leukemia, Reigns had to settle for pro wrestling. However, after a few years, he would strike gold in the wrestling industry, and become a main-event attraction, before his leukemia would return.

Back in October 2018, Reigns would come out during Monday Night Raw and relinquished his WWE Universal Title before announcing the return of his leukemia. Reigns would go on a hiatus for his remedy. However, a few months later in February 2019, he would make his return to WWE RAW, and announced his remission.
His cancer remission announcement would bring in loud cheers from the crowd, and their support. Although, Reigns was still not happy with this. During the recently released, WWE Rivals documentary featuring the feud between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, the 37-year-old spoke about his return from leukemia.
What did Roman Reigns claim being unhappy about his return to WWE after his recovery from leukemia?
Speaking on the documentary, Reigns revealed his unhappiness with the return. He claimed that his return to WWE post his cancer recovery meant that he was still on a honeymoon period with the company. He revealed that while his gimmick was still on; the management went light on him.
Reigns claimed, “When I came back I was just floating. You know, still the Big dog, still doing my thing. There was almost a honeymoon phase. ‘We can’t go hard on this guy’. And I was just not satisfied creatively.” He claimed that post his return to WWE, he was not satisfied with his creative booking, and wanted more out of it.
However, prior to WrestleMania 36, Reigns would again go on hiatus, and return at WWE SummerSlam 2020 as a heel. This heel turn would be revolutionary for Reigns, as it helped him build his character more. As a heel Reigns oozed charisma, and his alliance with Paul Heyman quickly helped him rise the charts.

From 2020 till now, Reigns has been holding the World titles for more than 900 days now. However, his biggest nightmare might be now, when he faces The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.
