The Texas Rattlesnake recently lost his gym buddy, his pet dog Brownie. Brownie was one of his adorable pets, whom the WWE Hall of Famer adopted in the last phase of his life. To recall the day when Austin adopted Brownie, he proudly announced, “He has been through the ringer, and still has a heart of gold.” The same day, he was taking Brownie to the vet. Three years later, he is digging a grave for his furry baby.

Austin may have been around animals all his life but he would melt at the sight of dogs. In 2017, Austin shared on his podcast Steve Austin Unleashed that his pet dog, Hershey The Wonder Dog passed away after more than a decade of spending time with him.
A dog is a man’s best friend, as they say. In 2020, Going by the name Brownie, the brown labrador dog was adopted by Austin and his family. In 2020, at 11 years old, Brownie would be brought to Austin’s home by him, and his family. Brownie was rescued by Austin and given a better lifestyle. It is well-known by his fans that Austin is the proud owner of several other dogs in the past as well.
Fast forward to 2023, Brownie passed away at the age of 14. As Austin shared the news, he wrote, “Brownie has moved on to his next adventure. He was a helluva dog. I’m prouder than a game rooster to have rid with him. R.I.P.🐾”

However, at 14 years old, the brown labrador bid goodbye to the world. Pro wrestlers, celebrities, and fans would come together to show their support and share condolences with Austin.
