“Ricochet Saved His Life”: As Logan Paul Puts Life at Risk, WWE Universe Fears the Worst After MITB 2023

Money in The Bank matches are always filled with some of the nastiest-looking bumps, and spots. And, similarly this year as well, the PLE saw some of the most dangerous-looking spots taking place, and superstars putting their lives on the line. Names such as, Ricochet, and Logan Paul however raised the bar even higher.

Toward the end of the match, both Ricochet and Paul would be at the top of the ladder reaching out for the briefcase, when LA Knight decided he had other plans. Knight would push the ladder, intending to throw both the superstars out of the ring. However, the spot is botched, and Ricochet and Paul got tangled on the top ropes and would go through a double table. The bump could have ended up more ghastly if it wasn’t for Ricochet.

As Knight pushed them off the ladder, both of them would land on the top rope. However, Logan Paul would miss his cue, and stumble. Ricochet would take notice of this, and improvise the move to perform a Spanish Fly from the second rope to the outside.

They had a hard landing on two tables outside with the reduced height. However, Ricochet’s presence of mind and experience saved the spot. The rough landing left the fans worried for their health, however, they were later cleared as fine.

Fans would take notice of this, and flood the internet with their praises for the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Both Paul and Ricochet have been involved in previous other high-flying spots as well. Back at Royal Rumble, they both collided in mid air after attempting a body splash from the top rope that made the fans rise to their feet.

Similarly, this time, despite the spot being dangerous, they improvised it and gave the fans what they deserved.

What has WWE planned for Ricochet in the near future?

Logan Paul recently signed a contract with WWE after WrestleMania 39, and there are chances of him appearing at SummerSlam 2023. However, Ricochet has been long deserving of a push. Last year, he lost his Intercontinental title to Gunther and is yet to receive another major push.

After a series of good performances, and sequences with Logan Paul, fans on the internet are demanding a match between the two at SummerSlam 2023 in Detroit. However, it is still a far-fetched idea.

The entire WWE Universe now has to wait and see what the promotion has in plans for Ricochet.
