For the second time this year, WWE is going to Saudi Arabia. Next month on November 4, Saturday Crown Jewel will air live in Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh. Since the PLE is going to take place in the Gulf country, the WWE Universe might be seeing a subdued version of Rhea Ripley in action.

‘The Eradicator’ is set to face Raquel Rodriguez, Zoey Stark, Nia Jax, and Shayna Baszler in a Fatal-Five-Way match at Crown Jewel. The Arabic country has austere traditions. So Ripley might have to restrict her mannerisms, as she is set to wrestle in the country next month.

‘Mami’ loves to tease. She is a heel, and a typical heel has to stir emotions in the crowd using different means. Usually, she portrays a negative character by hurling abuses, flipping the bird, etc. She also likes to prance around and stick her tongue out. But she can’t do that in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, she will have to adjust accordingly.

The Raw superstar’s bold personality is what makes her attractive in the WWE Universe. But during her match at Crown Jewel, she might have to rein in her character antics to respect the customs and traditions of the country.

In addition, Saudi Arabia has a rule that people are supposed to dress in modesty, especially women. The females cannot wear tight-fitted or revealing clothes. Therefore, she will be expected to wear a completely different wrestling attire just like she did at Night of Champions in May.

Ripley’s attire change

Five months before, WWE held the Night of Champions in the West Asian country on May 27. During the event, The Judgement Day member faced Natalya in a rather short match. The crowd of Jeddah Super Dome saw her donning a full black latex body suit with hints of purple. It covered every inch of her body except the area above her neck.

She usually wears a two-piece attire where her tattoos are clearly visible. But that was not the case at Night of Champions. A similar scenario is likely to happen at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event, too.

Additionally, she was not around in front of the audience for very long at NOC since the length of her match was short. Within seconds, she beat the WWE veteran and retained her championship. So there was not much time to notice the change in her mannerisms.

However, in the upcoming fatal-five-way match, she is likely to be present in the ring for a much longer period. This means the Women’s World Champion will have to restrict herself and adjust her mannerisms accordingly. Where do you stand on this matter? Let us know in the comments below.
