The CEO is back in her power. It’s time for all Mercedes Mone fans to brace themselves up. The former WWE wrestler finally looks up to her reappearance in the wrestling arena.  In May last year, the then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks (Marcedes Mone) and Naomi rose to the headlines, following their WWE walkout during Monday Night Raw. While Naomi had to wait longer to settle her boots in The Impact ring, former Sasha Banks quickly made a monumental debut in her dream promotion NPJW at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Mone was riding high on her NPJW run. She wrestled four times with grace since her joining. However, unfortunately, the fifth in-ring appearance back in May this year saw her hurt badly due to a right ankle injury. In the same match, Willow Nightengale defeated her clinching the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s Championship title. Since the injury, Mone didn’t appear in the wrestling arena, leaving fans anxious to the core. However, the recent report is finally going to put an end to fans’ anxious wait.

The bond between Sasha Banks and her former tag teammate Naomi aka Trinity Fatu is a well-documented fact in WWE’s history. The duo always have had each other’s back, even after getting planted at different promotions. Although earlier reports suggested that Mercedes Mone’s big-budget NPJW debut financially restricted the promotion to sign her friend Naomi despite deeming her as a worthy pick. However, the truth of Mone tirelessly rooting for her friend.

Fatu, 34, will get her first crack at championship gold with the promotion when she challenges Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary. This time also, Mone won’t change the norm of cheering for her as the report says she will be there in attendance, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada for IMPACT’s upcoming PPV. However, she is unlikely to appear in the ring.

The report of PWInsider reads, ”Mercedes Mone aka the former Sasha Banks is expected to be in attendance at tomorrow’s Slammiversary PPV in Windsor, Ontario, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that Mone is coming to the event in support of Trinity and would not likely be appearing on camera.”

Of course, Mone’s effort to hype up former Naomi from the audience seat is out and out mutual.

Trinity Fatu flew to Japan during Mercedes Mone’s NPJW debut amid a personal struggle

Earlier this year, when Fatu was in a severe struggle about finding her next stop in wrestling after an infamous WWE exit, her WWE tag partner Marcedes Mone already penned a contract with NPJW. The personal distress couldn’t overshadow Naomi’s love and excitement for her friend’s big day and she jetted off to Japan to witness Mone sailing for a new journey. Mone did the same for Fatu when she made her debut in Impact Wrestling in April.

Their support for each other stemmed from the deep-rooted bond. The former WWE tag team pair shared their moments of joy and sorrow together. Naomi once revealed how Mone got her back during the toughest phase of her life.

However, for now, the entire WWE Universe is waiting with bated breath for seeing Mone back in her place, even if not in her wrestling boots.
