His altercation with Jack Perry became his second high-profile scuffle in AEW after his clash with The Elites last year. Despite Punk being a free agent now, there are very few organizations that might take him in. However, there is still a chance.

Now, a sensational piece of news has emerged over Punk’s future in wrestling. A big-time player in the wrestling scene has shown interest in having the 44-year-old at their promotion.

Punk has been having a bitter last few weeks in AEW. It started with him being trolled for his sneak attack on Samoa Joe as a luchador a few weeks back at AEW Collision.

Things continued to go downhill as at the All In show at Wembley, the Straight Edge superstar got into a nasty scuffle with Perry, almost choking him out.

Fans also trolled him online for not maintaining the show at Wembley despite being the biggest draw. With him creating a hostile environment, according to Khan, and his aggressive nature led to workers not feeling safe, Khan made the decision to fire him.

However, all’s not lost for Punk, as there is one big player remaining in the scene. And it’s none other than Impact Wrestling, one of WWE’s old rivals.

According to Ringside News, Impact Wrestling is interested in hiring Punk and is “super excited” about having him. The reports say:Among other promotions, we have heard that Impact Wrestling was super excited about the idea of Punk potentially working there but I don’t know that realistically, that would be a long-term option.”
