While Logan Paul entertained the WWE Universe quite a lot, recent news says that his brother, Jake Paul was also about to enter WWE.
Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul also made his way into combat sports after enjoying unparalleled success on YouTube. While his elder brother Logan chose WWE, Jake drifted towards boxing. Now, there are reports that reveal that Jake’s entry into WWE was being planned. But, everything was scrapped and thrown down the drain because his potential opponent got released.

Jake Paul has emerged as a true wild card in the world of boxing. The Problem Child has raked several victories in his bag and defeated several big names like Nate Diaz. The younger Paul was supposed to make a WWE appearance and fight against WWE’s recently released wrestler, Matt Riddle. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that WWE had plans to feature Jake Paul, but everything has become lowkey now.
The report read, “There were at least talks that were expected to take place this week regarding Jake Paul vs. Matt Riddle. At best, the talk right now should be categorized as very preliminary.” The match now stands as canceled because of Matt Riddle’s firing.

This comes as a downer for fans who may have wanted to see their favorite star in a WWE match. However, after Riddle’s release last month, it is unlikely the match will take place in the confines of WWE. But what led to Riddle’s release in the first place?

Matt Riddle was removed from the WWE roster following a series of off-screen issues. Riddle was involved in more than a couple dozen of his backstage antics that drew a lot of heat.

There were also recently massive budget cuts that also were a factor. Riddle was also kicked out of the UFC for his uncontained troublemaking behavior after a career of 11 matches.
