WWE is no stranger to playing host to celebs from other fields. Over the years, many celebrities have also taken part in full-fledged wrestling matches commissioned by the promotion. Popular rapper Bad Bunny gave several wrestlers a run for their money with his highly acclaimed bout against Damian Priest at WWE Backlash in May. Such matches elevate the stature of celebrity pro wrestlers and help the business grow.

After Bad Bunny, another rapper, who was endorsed by Dwayne Johnson once, could make her debut. Whether Megan Thee Stallion decides to show up is up to her now.

Tag Team Winners send an invite to Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B

After relinquishing their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship a few weeks ago, due to a health scare, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez regained their lost titles at Money In The Bank. The duo managed to defeat Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to take the belt for themselves. But before getting to celebrate their victory, Morgan watched in horror as Baszler shockingly turned on her partner and left ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ in pain.

Morgan completed the formalities and took the belts. However, at the post-match press conference, they reiterated their challenge to popular rappers Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. The tag team champions had issued the same challenge in May.

“Yeah, we laid it down on the table, if they wanna pick it up, that is on them. We are ready girls,” Morgan told reporters in London.

Chipping in with her comments, Rodriguez said, “Ladies, the invitation has been sent. Feel free to accept, or decline, it’s on you.” The tag team champions have promised to go hard on the celebrities.

Meanwhile, if Megan Thee Stallion decides to take up the challenge, she could take a tip or two from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The WWE icon had expressed a strange desire involving the $16 million rapper in 2022.

Whether you like him or not, there’s no denying that Dwayne Johnson is a funny man who has a terrific sense of humor. While the WWE Universe got to witness it before anyone else, Johnson’s lighthearted side slowly took over Hollywood. This is also a feature in most of his interviews.

While promoting his movie DC League of Super Pets in August 2022, Johnson left several hosts and his co-star Kevin Hart in stitches with his humor-filled responses. One such was when he professed to be Megan Thee Stallion’s pet.

The response left both Hart and the host laughing, but Stallion’s boyfriend wasn’t too pleased. Nonetheless, it left the rapper impressed. In a chat with SiriusXM’s ‘The Morning Mash Up’, Stallion was told about Johnson’s desire and she gushed about the 51-year-old.

“Being from Houston and watching The Rock and how famous he is, how much of a mega-star he is and he wanna be my pet? Like, period. Like, we made it. We might be a little famous,” the 28-year-old rapper said. So, should she decide to enter the squared circle, help isn’t too far off.

Maybe, she could also get Johnson to come down to the match and be at the ringside. Wouldn’t that be epic?
