Kazuchika Okada stands among the elite talents globally, maintaining his status for an extended period. As one of the most familiar faces on the NJPW roster, he’s gearing up for a highly anticipated rematch against Bryan Danielson at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom in 2024. Interestingly, WWE has shown a keen interest in adding the Japanese star to their ranks

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides intriguing insights into WWE’s pursuit of Okada. This interest seems to coincide with Shinsuke Nakamura’s elevated status in the company. Particularly in his feud with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

The report read, “There has been some talk of late regarding WWE being interested in Kazuchika Okada. One person who mentioned about the renewed interest in Okada said that one of the reasons Nakamura is getting a renewed push is to show Okada that this regime is not going to treat Japanese like the stereotypical children-like role.” Nakamura has been vocal about his character transformation, dropping cryptic promos that have sparked speculation among fans.

Initially thought to target CM Punk, Nakamura’s focus may now shift to the potential arrival of Kazuchika Okada. Wrestling fans eagerly await if WWE can sign the renowned talent. Especially, given Okada’s impressive presence and undeniable charisma, making him a prime spotlight candidate.
