Spending time with your loved ones can help us through tough times. Now that former WWE talent, Sasha Banks, is facing such a time, she decided it would be better to spend more time with her family. In particular, the female wrestler is spending more time with her mother than she would spend on a regular working day, due to her being sidelined from action because of an injury.

In the picture she uploaded with her mother, Banks also appears to be healing from the injury she received 79 days ago. She suffered the injury during a match. Since then, the wrestler has been on a recovery break. But could she make a return soon?

It all started when Banks was facing off Willow Nightingale at ‘NJPW STRONG Resurgence’ on May 21 this year. The main eventers grabbed everyone’s attention. Right when Mercedes Mone was performing a move on top of a ring post, her luck ran out. The star then suffered a broken ankle. Regardless of the situation, she carried her match forward. However, her efforts were bested out by her opponent after she got pinned and lost her shot at winning the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.

This incident worried her fans regarding her state. However, she also came out on Twitter to update them later. She recorded a video for her fans and also wrote to them in the caption of the post. Mone admitted that the night did not go as she planned for it. The wrestler also assured the world that she will soon get better and come back. And now, it appears that her words might be coming true.

Only a few days after the injury, Mone took to Instagram to post a bunch of photos of her. Under the stunning pictures, she captioned, “The story will continue… #fairytaledreams.” This told fans that she is still not done with accomplishing more accolades in her restarted wrestling career.

On average, a broken ankle may take up to 5-8 weeks. However, some severe cases may even take over a year to recover. Fans will hope Mone could return to challenge the running NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion soon enough.
