On the August 28 episode of WWE RAW, the WWE Universe saw Dominik Mysterio literally begging for his life as he was stranded alone with Raquel Rodriguez inside the squared circle. The 32-year-old Rodriguez is set for a title match against Rhea Ripley, Dom Dom’s Mami, at Payback. The seventh edition of the PLE will emanate from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 2. But ahead of it, Dominik Mysterio has sounded the warning bell for the Texan wrestler.

This comes just days after Rodriguez openly claimed that Mysterio didn’t have the b**ls to face her. Taking to social media, Dom showed exactly what he plans to do to Rodriguez, most probably during her bout. Whether he will succeed or not, is one for the future to unveil.

Since joining The Judgment Day, Dominik Mysterio has formed a formidable bond with Ripley. Over the course of months, their on-screen romance seems to have reached new heights. The two have become inseparable in the last few months. Even when the other two members of The Judgment Day- Finn Balor and Damian Priest- have had public fallouts, Dom’s and Mami’s relationship has gone from strength to strength.

So, it isn’t unusual for Dominik Mysterio to step up to Rhea Ripley’s challenger and make it harder for the opponent. That is exactly what he has in his mind for Payback.

A recent picture of the 26-year-old shows him backstage, putting a choke hold on Rodriguez. Well, kind of. Except, it was a cardboard cutout of the former Women’s Tag Team Champion. Nevertheless, the intention of the NXT North American Champion is as clear as daylight.

Meanwhile, just a few days ago, Dominik came down hard on Rodriguez and her ways of attacking Ripley.
