‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ is not one who shies away from saying what’s on her mind. This has been a running theme for Ronda Rousey ever since she joined the UFC back in 2012. When she left that company, she might have left the brutality and ruthlessness of the sport but not her attitude, even when she became a part of WWE.

Even in the biggest sports entertainment company in the world, Rousey doesn’t mind saying what she means to; which is exactly what happened when she appeared on the New York Post.

After winning her 4th championship in the company, finally conquering all the titles on the main roster, Rousey hopped on the New York Post for an exclusive interview. The tag team champion talked about the division first. She pointed out the lack of focus and dedication by WWE toward the women’s tag team division.

Then they asked about her fellow champion and tag team partner, Shayna Baszler. Rousey revealed that she had been asking the management to put the two together for years. The interviewer then pointed out that women’s tag teams in WWE break up because they aren’t able to keep up with the pressure of retaining the titles, and asked Rousey if she will meet with the same fate.

She bluntly replied that there is a fact that set them apart from any other tag team in the history of the division. It is that the two have seen a lot of things together. She continues, “We’ve literally fought together, bled together, cried together everything. And so there’s nothing that’s going to tear us apart, especially not a fantasy-land company like this.
