The WWE women’s division has‌ gone through an epic revolution over the past decade. Fans and critics initially were hesitant to put divas opposite the male roster. But with NXT and a pool of talent like Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks among others coming in, the women’s roster has earned everyone’s respect. However, there has been a dip in terms of storylines and match quality over the last couple of months.

Pointing it out is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, who, in a recent interview, openly admitted that the women’s division isn’t the same as it was 6 months ago, taking a cheeky jab at Triple H in the process.

Seth Rollins is one of the greatest superstars of his generation. After being stuck in the midcard for over 4 years, Rollins won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the 2023 Night of Champions.

Since then a rejuvenated Rollins has been extremely candid on multiple issues. Now, on a recent edition of WWE After the Bell, hosted by Corey Graves, Rollins spoke about the state of the current women’s division.

Rollins initially said: “We want something more out of the women.” Later, he also stated: “They haven’t been showcased as well as they could have been over the past six months or so.”

While it’s surprising to hear Rollins’ take, it’s still noteworthy for him to speak his mind. However, it’s still something to ponder over as Rollins indirectly took a jab at Triple H. After all HHH is the Head of Creative and majorly responsible for storylines in WWE.

Nonetheless, in the same interview, The Architect was quick to add how the divas’ talent was on the cusp of a breakthrough. Even though the words might seem harsh, fans around the world might echo what Rollins has expressed.

Is Triple H responsible for the poor treatment of the women’s roster?

Over the past few weeks, fans have been critical of the matches and storylines that have come out from the creatives headed by Triple H regarding the women’s roster.

Whether it’s Rhea Ripley’s ongoing feud with Raquel Rodriguez or the heavily criticized match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, the WWE creative head hasn’t impressed the WWE universe with what he has presented them with. This is evident as the creatives haven’t produced quality bouts like how they once had with the rise of Bianca Belair, or the epic main event featuring the ascension of Becky Lynch to the top.

Fans echoed the poor booking as they were fuming over the exclusion of Lynch, Stratus, and Ripley on their biggest show of the summer, SummerSlam.

With the women not getting enough opportunities and an active champion speaking on the same, one wonders if Triple H will take charge and book things differently moving forward.
