But The Maverick caught the eyeballs of a legion of WWE fans by unleashing his wrestling skills quickly after his WWE debut.
Days have passed since Paul clinched a big victory against Ricochet at SummerSlam 2023. Even before the celebration mood mellowed down, it seems like he rose to the rank of being acknowledged by legendary wrestling veteran, Eric Bischoff.

Logan Paul has been given enviable spots from the very start of his WWE stint, making many critiques shoot questions about the company favoring him over others. However, the 28-year-old fired back at his naysayers every time by doing absolute justice to his push. Now, it seems like Bischoff has got his back in this battle.
While speaking on 83 Weeks, the WWE Hall of Famer clearly explains why Paul deserves all the success and spotlight that he received in the recent past.
Drawing a comparison between him and other talents, Bischoff noted, ”Logan Paul is, in my opinion, one of the most impressive sports entertainers, professional wrestlers, whatever you want to call them, to come down the pike in the past 20 years. He puts on a clinic for probably 90% of the roster of any company in the country. 100% of the roster in most cases …”
”His timing, his psychology, his execution, his feel for the audience … Ricochet deserves 50% of the credit. He’s better than 98% of wrestlers on most rosters.”, the impressed WWE veteran added.
However, not only Bischoff, Vince McMahon recognized Paul’s potential long before he proved himself to the rest of the world.

During a recent interview, Paul Reflected on his very first match in the WWE ring at WrestleMania 38 where he teamed with The Miz against The Mysterios. Post the match, McMahon worked as a confidence booster for him.
The Youtuber turned wrestler noted, ”I get backstage and I go to Vince McMahon and he says something to me like, ‘Oh, your future is here.’ And I think we all kind of realized at the same time I could do this, I like it, and I’m good at it.”
