“I do think there’s more of a possibility of Mercedes heading to WWE than I did in August…when there was a working plan for Mercedes & AEW to work together, ‘cause when I followed up on that, I have not been told of any current active plan for that to happen.”

Banks was last seen on the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw of 2022. She along with Naomi walked out of the show following creative differences. However, there was some tittle-tattle that the two are in talks with Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque since he took over as the Chief Content Officer of the company.

While fans might hear the news of Sasha Banks returning to WWE quite soon, Triple H might have started setting up the stage since Crown Jewel.
In what scenario Sasha Banks might return to WWE
At the 2023 Crown Jewel, fans and Bayley were shocked to see Iyo Sky’s former tag team partner Kairi Sane make her return to WWE. Fans are also aware of the history Bayley shares with Sane. The two were rivals back in their Raw days and Bayley was the one who made Sane go off-air. However, her return was not the only shock that came to fans and her. In the aftermath of the PLE, Asuka also joined hands with Damage CTRL. On the November 10 episode of SmackDown, Asuka turned against Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and Shotzi and sided with the heel stable. But following that, Bayley has been under a constant threat.

In the following week’s episode, fans noticed something was off with the faction. Bayley was seen left out on multiple occasions. Dakota Kai who happens to understand Japanese (thanks to her time at Japan-based indie circuits) was able to interact with the other members of the stable. Bayley on the other hand was left all by herself. Fans could notice this change and are sensing a major betrayal might be on its way. It might be possible in the near future that Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Iyo Sky might turn against her and Banks will come in to save her. While Bayley might also have hinted at Banks‘ return, only time will tell when fans will be able to see her at WWE once again.
