John Cena starrer Barbie may have raked close to $500 million worldwide and received appreciation from many, but it has failed to impress a WWE superstar. The 45-year-old wrestler has complained about the plight of men in the film. He also suggested a measure to alleviate it.

Ironically, this wrestler put Cena through severe pain once, to capture the prestigious WWE Championship. But now, it looks like he has had a change of heart.

Greta Gerwig’s bubblegum pink film has resonated with many in the world, helping the feature to earn a substantial amount of money. According to CNBC, Barbie collected $26 million on Monday, making it the most successful Monday in the history of Warner Bros., the film’s production company. But WWE superstar and John Cena’s former rival, Sheamus isn’t happy.

The Irish pro wrestler dropped an NSFW emoji to give his review of the film. Sheamus is no stranger to Hollywood either. The former WWE United States Champion has acted in over five films.

Sheamus particularly took offense at the treatment of men in the film. “Barbieland is an authoritarian matriarchy where 100% of men are forced to live homeless at the beach while 100% of women live in glorious pink mansions,” he said.

Cena’s former rival called for an intervention from the military as a measure. “Together we can end this horror,” he noted.

Apart from John Cena, who plays Kenmaid, a merman, the film, the movie stars Margot Robbie in the titular character. Ryan Gosling plays one of the many versions of Ken.

In an upcoming film, Cena is going to voice the iconic character of Rocksteady, a villain in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Cena is a part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, an animated movie set to release on August 2 in the United States.

This character was earlier played by Sheamus in the 2016 released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. It’s interesting to see Cena follow in the footsteps of Sheamus, who had earlier done the same during a title run.
