One of the most iconic pairs on WWE TV is Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. The Beast Incarnate and his advocate went through some of the most iconic matches in the company’s history. From championships to main event matches, Heyman has been at the side of Lesnar for a lot of the most iconic moments in the Beast’s glorious career.

On The Bump, while talking about his other legendary pairing with Roman Reigns, Heyman was talking about the surprising reveal of their pairing coming out of nowhere. While everyone agrees that Heyman has taken his craft up another level, the Wiseman didn’t hold back on making it clear how much of a difference it is from his past.

Heyman added in his answer, “Lesnar’s advocate is hanging out with the Big Dog. What’s happening here? Not knowing that the advocate had moved over to become an upgrade of a special counsel, let alone in the future become a Wiseman.

The upgrade that Heyman was talking about is the opportunity to be at the side of another legend-in-the-making who’s making history and breaking records. To solidify and ensure his place at the side of The Tribal Chief, Heyman also betrayed his previous client in front of the entire world when the two went head-to-head for the titles multiple times over the past 3 years.

Calling his alliance with Reigns an upgrade is definitely a shade on his past with Lesnar. Not only did they go through multiple WrestleMania main events together, Heyman even saw Lesnar break The Undertaker’s streak for the first time. Also, they created various phrases like Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat, and more that became iconic for fans. This is the clear way of Heyman to say that he won’t be going back to Lesnar.
