Paul Heyman is known for his loyalty to his clients. Just like Roman Reigns, Heyman has previously worked with numerous other stars. Heyman recently caught up with one of his oldest clients whom he managed decades ago. This iconic star is none other than The Undertaker himself.

Recently, fans saw The Phenom’s return to WWE. Although he is signed under WWE’s ‘Legends’ contract, the promotion rarely gets to call him in. But on NXT last Tuesday, wrestling fans witnessed the Hall of Famer’s return and Heyman made sure to greet him.

Even before The Tribal Chief‘s rivalry with Taker, Heyman and the legend were writing history for themselves. The two industry superstars knew each other all the way from their time in WCW. During that era of wrestling, The Wise Man worked as Calaway’s on-screen manager and went on to have more moments together even after they signed with WWE. Seeing his old friend return to WWE after so long, Heyman couldn’t control his happiness.

Backstage on Tuesday’s NXT show, the manager caught hold of his former client. Fans got to know about the two industry stars getting along via photos that started going viral on social media.

In a Twitter post, we can see The Undertaker, standing and looking at Paul Heyman while the latter holds his old friend by his shoulders, smiling at him. Both the industry legends seem to be carrying out a conversation; most probably catching up with each other’s lives.

Given the rivalry between Roman Reigns and The Deadman, fans might worry that this moment could stir up a reaction from the Undisputed Champion. However, even the champion himself doesn’t have any bad blood for his old rival. In fact, he has a good amount of respect for him outside their kayfabe masks.

The two rivals faced each other in an iconic match at WrestleMania 33. Although the match ended up with ‘The Big Dog’ pinning The Undertaker that’s not what Reigns wanted to do at first. He had got to know that his opponent was going to have hip surgery soon after their match together and was already in pain that he was hiding away.
