Paul Heyman isn’t only wise in explaining the very meaning of the catchphrase of his Tribal Chief. Rather, he seems to be equally invested in decoding some other legend’s signature line.

‘Whatcha Gonna Do When Hulkmania Runs Wild On You’, the immortal line by Hogan used as a chilling warning to his opponents can never be forgotten by wrestling fans. Hogan’s popularity was running wild along with his catchline during the ’80s and ’90s era. Hogan’s motto not only took the fans by storm, but it also impressed Roman’s special counsel.

Heyman termed Reigns ‘Acknowledge Me’ a needy yet powerful instrument for projecting authority over his family members and fans. But when it comes to Hulk Hogan, the 57-year-old thinks his catchphrase is straightway bossy and dominating as it should be.

During his appearance in the podcast episode of Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin, Heyman explained how high-octane Hogan’s phrase is. Addressing the powerful aura of the line, he noted,  ‘‘ What’s you gonna do when the Hulkster, when Hulkmania, runs wild on you? In other words, you are hopeless. You are helpless. There is nothing you can do. What you gonna do? Nothing… It’s the prison scene.”

”Its hey, I really like your shoes. Oh yeah, thank you. I didn’t ask you what brand they were. I told you I like your shoes. By this time, you should be taking them off and handing them to me. When I ask you what size your shoes are, your answer is your size, sir. That’s the prison logic. These are prisons, declarative statements,” Paul added, explaining the sense of submission it imposes on others.

However, besides Heyman being a fan of Hogan’s dominating catchphrase, he recently received a humble request from the Hulkster.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made a bizarre request to the Wise Man months ago. During the 30th anniversary episode of Raw, the Huklster welcomed fans to the show. A recent clip shared by WWE showed him urging Heyman backstage for allowing him to be in the Bloodline as he felt tired of the Hulkmania shtick.

While Hulk Hogan won’t likely join forces with Bloodline for his physical disability, it’s fascinating to see how Reigns with the help of Paul will proceed his family saga further.
