The recent Vince McMahon scandals have hit WWE hard but this time he isn’t the only perpetrator being blackballed. Brock Lesnar has also paid the price for his involvement in the McMahon lawsuit. In order to avoid backlash, WWE has not only removed him from future WWE TV programs including Royal Rumble, but also from the WWE 2K24 game. In a recent podcast, a WWE legend said that Lesnar may not return to WWE or UFC now, but may proceed to another promotion.

Eric Bischoff reveals what Brock Lesnar’s future could be

Former WWE GM and senior vice president of WCW, Eric Bischoff had a discussion on the future of Brock Lesnar on the recent episode of his podcast, 83 Weeks. The video is titled “BROCK LESNAR is *DONE* in WWE and UFC!” and is available on YouTube from February 6th. During a segment in the video, Bischoff also discussed a potential place where Brock Lesnar could move now.

When the host, Conrad Thompson asked Bischoff about where Lesnar could go after his scandal in WWE, Bischoff took the name of Japan. He said, “Can’t imagine it. I mean maybe in Japan, yeah.” Brock Lesnar has been to NJPW before after his first run got over in 2004. He also fought Kurt Angle for the IWGP title after he refused to drop the belt.

The allegations on Lesnar would hamper his progress in the USA, hence it is a good suggestion by Bischoff. But the question is, will Japan accept The Beast despite the damage to his reputation? Well, Bischoff has an answer for that.

Bischoff further explained the reason behind Japan’s acceptance of Lesnar. He said, “Because they’re not, first of all they don’t care. There, the culture over there is so much different. They’re not paying close attention. You don’t have the political correctness and I don’t mean that in a derisive way. You don’t have the kind of movements and awareness and focus that the media puts on things that we consume every day over there that they do here.
