“ONE MORE TIME” – 81-Year-Old WWE Legend Expresses His Desire to Suplex Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 40

Just a week passed since WrestleMania 39 is in the history books and it’s safe to say that it marked a massive success with the tag of the highest-grossing event of the company. While all the breathtaking matches, surprises, and thrills, shocking outcomes are still afresh in fans’ memory, the speculation around next WrestleMania has already started to unfold.

Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field will host next year’s showcase event and WWE Universe can’t wait to pick up the few available assumptions and information regarding that. While we may get to see a few legends on the show next year, another legendary retired superstar Iron Sheik teased one more match with his arch-rival Hulk Hogan at the stage of WrestleMania 40.

The Iron Sheik wants to suplex Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 39

The Iron Sheikh seems to be entangled in a forever feud with Hulk Hogan. The former WWE Champion often teases and takes shots at ‘The Hulkster’ on his social media handles and this time was no different.

This time the retired star took to Twitter to throw an open challenge to the Hulkster to face him at Mania 40 and said he will suplex Hogan “one more time”.

Hulk Hogan, being a phenomenal superstar of the company over the decades, defeated numerous high-profile stars on the roster. But probably one of his significant wins came when he defeated The Shiekh to win his first WWE Championship in 1984, ushering in the birth of ‘Hulkamania’. Hogan incredibly escaped his signature Camel Clutch to win his first-ever WWE title and The Shiekh it seems, hasn’t forgotten that.

But as mentioned earlier, it is not the first time Sheik took a dig at Hogan.

Iron Sheik has been continuing firing shots at Hogan for a while

Sheik, 81, has been quite famous on Twitter for his vocal aggression toward Hogan. Two weeks ago, he came up with a controversial tweet regarding the two-time Hall of Famers whom he labelled as a “Son of a B***” hours seeing finding himself in the next pope list.

The humiliation started even earlier, back in 2021, on the occasion of Christmas, when he posted a degrading tweet regarding Hogan’s multiple injuries and worsening health condition. He wrote in the caption, ‘WHAT IF I BROKE HULK HOGANS LEG?’ The Shiekh having this one way  trolling and banter with Hogan is something that fans have witnessed regularly and often draws hilarious reactions from them.

Just days after that, Sheikh snubbed Hogan while wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

While it’s very evident The Iron Shiekh is having fun at the expense of his one-time in-ring arch-rival, we are yet to see if it will get any counter-response from Hogan or not.
