“Officially Horrendous”, “Beyond Cringe”: Sasha Banks Gets Trolled Ridiculously for Showing Off Her Singing Skills Hours Ahead of Her Much-Awaited Title Match

The wrestling world knows of Sasha Banks famously for her work in WWE. However, it’s been a few months since she left the world’s largest pro wrestling company to join NJPW. Although she has achieved immense success there as well, the trolls have not left her from their sights. Her recent display of singing skills surrounded her with numerous negative remarks. 

Since Banks joined New Japan Pro Wrestling, fans have also known her as Mercedes Moné. And even in this short span of time, she made her name big in the promotion. Currently, Moné holds the IWGP Women’s Championship title, which she will defend in a few hours against Mayu Iwatani at Stardom’s All-Star Grand Queendom. However, before the main event, she has already turned her fans against her.

During the Stardom press conference, Moné and Iwatani both were present and even had confrontations that got physical. A lot happened at the conference, but one scenario that caught everyone’s attention was Banks singing like a rockstar with a guitar in her hand. 

This might sound like a magnificent moment for the superstar. However, it didn’t go the way Moné must have planned. In the video, she looks like enjoying herself, but that didn’t really matter to people on the internet.

On social media, people couldn’t resist reacting to the clip of her singing while mocking her opponent.

Fans troll Mone on the internet ahead of her championship match

As soon as fans got a glimpse of the intense Stardom press conference, especially the part where the 31-year-old sang for the crowd, they took to the internet to react. Most of their remarks were quite negative and heavily trolled Moné. Although, this wasn’t the first time that she’s been trolled for her actions after joining NJPW.

Some fans termed it as a result of when a wrestler gets “creative freedom”.

There were people who denigrated her while recalling the time when she compared herself with the GOATs of the industry like John Cena, The Rock, and Steve Austin. 

A fan even took a personal shot at Sasha Banks for her choice to work under a promotion.

Others begged the star to not do this ever again.

This display of talent has clearly worked against Mercedes Moné. However, now fans just wait to witness her championship match against Mayu Iwatani.
