Roman Reigns is one of the most respected members of the Samoan wrestling family. He did something that his predecessors were not able to do, form a wrestling stable consisting of family only. The faction came into the picture when The Usos decided to acknowledge Reigns as The Tribal Chief in July 2021. It added more members by September 2022, including Sami Zayn as an ‘Honorary Ucey’ and Uso’s younger brother, Solo Sikoa. With the stable going strong, Reigns managed to rule over SmackDown.
However, a staggering revelation came to light recently. It was revealed that The Bloodline was not set up to propel Roman Reigns forward. But for another star to make a name for himself.

Roman Reigns is addressed as The Tribal Chief by his fans, his family, and Paul Heyman. This was done to reinvent his image and give fans a different angle to Reigns. For this purpose, The Bloodline faction was formed. However, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, this might not have been the only motive of WWE. According to Rapp, it was to propel the career of one of his cousins.
Sapp said that the primary reason for The Bloodline to happen was to elevate Jey Uso to the main event level. This was to be done by giving him a push with the help of the faction but also for him to make an identity for himself. And when WWE realized it was time for him to go solo, he was moved to RAW. “Elevating Jey Uso to a main event level on his own was a primary goal of the Bloodline, and they felt like it was time and moved him to WWE Raw,” he said.

After his twin brother turned on him, Jey Uso decided to leave the faction. There was no news about the whereabouts of the Uso until Payback. At the Payback event on September 2nd, 2023, it was announced that Uso would be making his transition to the red brand. This announcement was made by Cody Rhodes who was present on the Grayson Waller Effect show. Since then he has been greeted by his former stablemate Sami Zayn and teamed with Kevin Owens once.
But apart from this, he has been receiving a lot of attention from another wrestling stable. Since Uso is solo now, and with WWE having big plans for him, what could this attention mean for the star?
Jey Uso has caught someone’s eye
Since his debut at RAW, he has been receiving a lot of attention from another heel faction, The Judgment Day. Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio have made many offers to the 38-year-old star. But Uso has constantly turned down these offers. But things started to heat up when Cody Rhodes told Mysterio that Rhea Ripley had her eyes on Jey Uso. Since then, things have been different. Jey Uso wants to team up with Rhea Ripley. But at the same time, kick Dominik Mysterio out of the equation.

However, there are no reports of Jey Uso joining The Judgment Day, but it looks like he is more interested in Rhea Ripley than the stable itself. This has started a cold war between him and Dominik Mysterio. Uso’s real intentions are not revealed but it can assumed that he wants to pair up with her as her pairing with Mysterio had benefitted both him and Ripley. But in the end, fans will have to wait and see how Uso’s story turns out at RAW.
