Ever since Dominik Mysterio joined his kayfabe family on The Judgment Day, he goes wherever Mami goes. Dirty Dom is known for his affectionate behavior towards Rhea Ripley but her protection is only limited to the squared circle. In a moment that showcased the chemistry between the two, Dominik preferred someone else over Ripley.

In a small interview for a new show of the WWE, Dominik Mysterio revealed a spine-chilling tale from his childhood. He also revealed that he has a guardian angel who is not Rhea Ripley.

Dominik Mysterio shares a haunting experience from childhood

WWE recently premiered their new non-wrestling show titled Chamber of Horrors. In the first episode, Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, Shotzi, and Scarlett Bordeaux appeared on the show. While Shotzi and Scarlett were working as hosts, Mysterio and Ripley appeared as guests.

At the beginning of the show, Scarlett asked Mysterio to share an experience where he felt like he was being haunted. He said, “So, I was told about it, this experience I had as a kid. But other than that, I was unaware of it. Other than that, I have heard just stories of what happened to me as a kid. Long story short, my uncle passed away in 1995, and I was born in 1997. That’s my mom’s younger brother and when I was three years old apparently, I was under the table, talking to someone. And I told my mom how he died, and what kind of car he was in, and I’ve never met him. So, he’s always been my guardian angel.”

While Ripley has been Mysterio’s kayfabe guardian angel, it seems that Mysterio has had a member of his family constantly looking over. In a similar vein, Ripley was also asked to share a memory from her past, before the group entered the haunting site in St Augustine, Florida.

The pair were taken to The Old Jail at St. Augustine, Florida for their adventure in the first episode. Although both superstars are champions in the ring, they were spooked by the encounter. On a night filled with paranormal encounters, they experienced moments that seemed to defy rational explanation.

Within the building’s premises, the two came across many eerie spots. At one point, it felt as if they were even trying to communicate with the supernatural through modern communication devices. Regardless, in the end, it was a captivating experience for the two.
