Most of you would recall Paul Heyman as an example of this statement. For now, The Wise Man serves The Bloodline, this adventure appears to be ending soon.

Jey Uso threatened to kick him out. He didn’t give any prior warnings to the infamous manager before the ultimatum. However, Heyman is not helpless in this situation. A WWE superstar announced a public invitation to Heyman, granting him a brand new job.

This week on Friday Night SmackDown, there was the kind of wrestling drama that made a part of the audience go crazy. In a promo, Paul Heyman was talking to Jey Uso. Perhaps as a way to keep the rest of The Bloodline intact after their recent fall, he was envisioning the future with him.

During the promo, Heyman told Jey Uso that he sees Roman Reigns grooming him personally so that he can become the future Tribal Chief. Excited upon envisioning himself as The Tribal Chief, Uso revealed, “If I’m in The Bloodline, then you out The Bloodline.”

But WWE’s US Champion has other plans for Paul Heyman. During his screen time on the same night, Austin Theory said, “If Paul Heyman is looking for a new client after next week, I invite him to check out Austin Theory live!” The US champion wants Heyman to take him as his client in case things go south for him.

Both the callouts to Heyman last night were drastically different. Now, Heyman’s fate is sealed until either Jey or Heyman himself makes a decision.

Is WWE going somewhere with these promos?

First Jey Uso’s threat then Theory inviting Heyman to check him out, WWE could potentially be building up a new storyline. The last major event in Austin Theory’s career was his wrestling the WWE legend John Cena at WrestleMania 39. Theory was able to successfully retain his title during the match. Perhaps WWE’s creative team saw sparkling potential in him and wants to move him to the big matches more often.

Fans must also pay attention to the fact that as soon as Theory’s statement went viral, Heyman retweeted it on his official Twitter account. So, could it be possible that we may see The Wise Man turning on his Tribal Chief?
