There is a huge fanbase for the independent wrestling scene when we leave WWE, AEW, NJPW, Impact Wrestling, etc. out of the picture. Today the independent scene has gained a valuable reach and fans fill up the arenas to watch the matches. The indie stars wrestle to a great extent and sometimes there is an involvement of the fans too, but in a limited capacity. But sometimes, a few fans take the liberty of invading the ring and attacking the wrestler, something that happened a few days ago.
A fan attacked wrestlers Dani “misdiMEANor”Jordyn and Dillon McQueen at an Independent wrestling show two days back. A fan shared the video of the incident from Zicky Dice’s Outlandish 3 show. The fan who attacked was in a Spiderman costume as he invaded the ring.
Thankfully no one was seriously injured. This fan jumped in the ring and attacked Dillon McQueen and Dani Jordyn last night. None of this was part of the show. pic.twitter.com/rex0a962B5

The fans slammed McQueen’s back on the ring apron and then gave a twisted version of Attitude Adjustment to Jordyn. The security quickly entered and took the fan backstage while both the wrestlers looked shocked in the ring. They also gave an update later.
Dani Jordyn shared a health update
After the show was over and the clip of the video became viral, both the wrestling stars gave an update. It was a shocking scene to watch as a fan directly invaded a match and attacked the duo, as one of them was a female wrestler. Jordyn took to Twitter to share a health update where she explained the situation, too.

‘The Real Mean Girl’ tweeted, “I am okay. If you only knew the whole story. No, it was not a part of the show. Yes I told him to leave the ring several times. I did not expect to be touched at all. We handled the situation backstage as professionally as we could given the entire situation”

However, another wrestler, Lord Crewe, shared a tweet in which she shared that the fan “was intellectually disabled”. Hence, they let him go. This is not the first time when fans have invaded and attacked. One of the horrifying similar incidents is when WWE star Seth Rollins got attacked while he was on the entrance ramp on RAW. However, fans shared their views on the same by sharing their reactions.

This was almost definitely scripted

The way she sold that I actually kinda believe it was scripted.

Nevertheless, a section of the fans didn’t believe he was “developmentally challenged” as mentioned in the tweet
looks pretty developed to me

Looks like a scholar to me

They didn’t need to handle him like that if he challenged like that
— AKid47 (@AKid47N8tive) June 7, 2023
Not developmentally challenged. He is a normal guy even better than normal people pic.twitter.com/xZVebEAQIp

A couple of Twitter users shared that the fan was lucky as the security didn’t beat him up to the extreme level.

A joke referring to AEW boss Tony Khan signing independent wrestlers.
How long before Tony Kahn gives him a 6 figure AEW contract.
