“Not Be Mad About It”: Fans Hail John Cena’s Humble Nature as He Takes Out Time to Appreciate Recent Segment That Mocked His Iconic Gimmick

WWE wrestlers can only walk two paths to become a hit with the audience. Get launched or relaunched as a heel, or be John Cena. The People’s Champ is by far, the ultimate babyface in WWE. In fact, Cena’s humility and goodness never differentiate between his friends and foes.

A viral social media post recently showed Cena appreciating another WWE superstar for mocking him. John Cena is known for appreciating people who pull a good joke, even if the joke is on him. Cena was recently mocked by none other than The Miz on RAW. However, Cena appreciated his longtime rival for his perfect gimmick mimic and amazed his fans.

The Miz mocks John Cena in hilarious segment

John Cena is making major headlines with his return to his home industry. The wrestler-turned-Hollywood star entertained the WWE Universe via his off-ring performances in theaters and OTT platforms. The Cenation eagerly awaited the arrival of their leader and cheered with joy when they saw him making news again. John Cena has been booked for SmackDown for the next few weeks.

However, there was speculation that he may also appear on RAW. While Cena didn’t arrive on RAW, his music still played loudly in the arena. The crowd later realized that this was nothing, but a shenanigan pulled by The Miz. The A-lister WWE Superstar is one of WWE’s most entertaining characters. He fooled fans by inviting Cena, only that he wasn’t there. But The Miz acted along the lines of Cena’s famous “You Can’t See Me” catchphrase and conducted an interview with him. 

Later, The Miz even ‘attacked’ Cena and beat him down. All this was done to an invisible Cena, who has now appreciated the joke by posting a snapshot of the segment on his Instagram account. The post was also later shared on Twitter by Wrestle Features.

John Cena took to social media to appreciate the well-executed prank played by The Miz. Cena and Miz share a level of mutual respect which Cena even showcased when he hosted WWE’s recent PLE Payback.

Cena has always respected The Miz for this feat and for finishing a title match despite a concussion at WrestleMania 27. Fans appreciated the humility of Cena in the comment section.
