“Nobody Wants To Get Sued”: WWE Legend Uses Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes’ RAW Segment To Highlight a Problem Plaguing American Schools

One of the latest grudge rivalries in WWE emerged involving two top stars of the promotion, Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar. After getting attacked by Lesnar at Raw after WrestleMania, this week’s Raw episode saw the American Nightmare almost getting his hands on Lesnar. But they were kept apart by the security team.

Before Rhodes could do more damage, Adam Pearce officially granted his wish and offered him a match with Lesnar at the Backslash Premium Live Event next month. Rhodes then stormed off, addressing a retreating Lesnar as a coward.

While many fans got disheartened at not seeing a brawl between these two, AEW personality Mark Henry believes it’s all for the better.

There is a common notion about ‘The Beast Incarnate’ being the ultimate beast in the ring. Mark Henry once again reflected on that while discussing Lesnar vs Rhodes’s upcoming match at Backlash during the latest episode of Busted Open Podcast.

Weighing on his thoughts on the past week’s Raw happenings between two arch-rivals, Henry noted, ‘It was very good to not let him touch, and we almost got it and then you see a whole another wave or security come and push Cody back all the way to…like I thought that was very good. I don’t know if I would have used the word, coward, … I would’ve turned it into what it really was. Brock is a bully. I mean, like you’re a bully …’

Later he linked Cody vs Brock’s feud more to the current scenario prevailing in American schools, where it became a norm to operate with a tit-for-tat policy in case of bullying and it certainly not leading to any good.

Going deeper into his stance, Henry continued, ‘You know what America is kind of founded on right now, a whole lot of bullying, from politics to race relations. It’s the schools allowing bullying and nobody wants to get sued.’

While it seems a highly physical sport like wrestling can’t be free of bullying, it’s, however, not true for all wrestlers.

There are tons of wrestlers who are notoriously known for their backstage bullying. But Mark Henry was never one of them. While he loved to terrify the opponents in the ring with his monster image, he never bullied people in the background.

Rather, his peers have known him as one of the most generous and warm personalities who was always there to help any newcomer in the roster to cope with the culture and sport. He played a crucial role in Braun Strowman and Big Cass’ rise as the mainstay.

Speaking of the latest hyped-up feud, we have to wait till May 6 to know how it ultimately plays out for both of the superstars, especially Cody Rhodes.
