The women’s division in the WWE has always been under fire. There are particular highs where fans feel like the women’s division has finally improved before everything returns to mediocrity. Lynch began her pro wrestling training back in 2002 and joined NXT in 2013. Since then, she has slowly and steadily proved why she is among the best female wrestlers today. Being part of the four horsewomen of wrestling and now a Grand Slam champion, she is a veteran of the business.

However, The New York Post reported that she hasn’t been enjoying her run recently. “Currently, we are a little light on women with credibility on Raw,” Lynch said. Despite having a women’s match on every episode of RAW, there hasn’t been much to discuss. Lynch explained her open challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship.

She said the open challenge was there to give the women a chance to get some credibility. According to Lynch, the women in the WWE have not been getting a fair chance to shine. A championship match would give the fans something to root for while giving Lynch someone to beat.

On the topic of credibility, Lynch targeted Triple H and explained why. Lynch began by discussing how the women in the division had to come up. “But if nobody’s getting any TV time. If nobody’s getting any storytime, then they can’t rise up because nobody knows who the hell they are,” she said. This was regarding the limited screen time and storylines in the women’s division today.

She also took the time to lavish praise on some of the budding young female WWE stars.

Lynch’s thoughts on Zoey Stark and Rhea Ripley

While talking about the division, Lynch took the time to praise a few stars. The first was Zoey Stark, who she praised by saying she was an invaluable asset to the company. “She is phenomenal, she is intense, she is athletic,” Lynch said.

The next star she talked about was Xia Li, who was given a push before her momentum was stopped entirely. “It’s hard to gain momentum if you don’t get no TV time,” Lynch added. She also chastised Rhea Ripley for not defending her title enough. Lynch blasted her by suggesting that Ripley gets more time because she likes to hang out with The Judgment Day. She also said that Ripley didn’t like getting hit.
