Even though he might have not done a WWE promo in a while, Dwayne Johnson is still one of the best people when it comes to the mic segments. His quick-witted responses and memorable catchphrases elevated him to legendary status.

Recently, he just displayed it again when he roasted Grayson Waller, who was mocking The People’s Champ. But The Rock even roped in Waller’s boss in the roast, making it hilarious for fans.

On Twitter, after his Madison Square Garden debut, Grayson Waller posted a picture of himself with the caption saying that he’s the biggest WWE debut at Madison Square Garden since The Rock. But then Waller posted another video, this time writing that he changed his mind and that his debut was better. But the highlight was the video he posted where he mocked The Rock’s Rocky Maivia gear from his Survivor Series debut in 1996.

But Johnson didn’t take this insult lying down. Instead, he wrote that he agreed with Waller’s take, but he continued, “the fact you look and sound like you dropped out of some jabroni’s balloon knot. Nice haircut, you Outback Jack Off.” Johnson also mentioned that his outfit was Triple H’s idea in the first place.

Given that Hunter is the creative head of WWE, this stings a lot more than it’s meant to. But if you’re shocked about Johnson replying to Waller’s mockery, Waller has already interacted with more legends than many of his peers.

The Rock isn’t the only legend that Waller has mocked in the past two weeks. Cena even gave the fans a memorable moment when he gave an Attitude Adjustment to Waller.

Just five days after that interaction, Waller invited Edge on his Grayson Waller Effect show on SmackDown. This interaction led to Waller’s wrestling debut on the main roster. Not only did the 33-year old debuted against former WWE champion Edge, but his debut happened at the auspicious Madison Square Garden arena, though he ended up losing the match.
