It was a rough raw for Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. After having an intense rivalry for months, fans finally got to see their feud culminate on RAW. Unfortunately for them, the match didn’t live up to its expectations. What’s worse is that the match saw a botched spot which disappointed the fans further.

Now, fans have gone in on the two superstars, criticizing their match quality and botched spot on social media. 

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus botch big time

On a night that was supposed to deliver a gigantic clash between the two top stars, fans got an underwhelming product. While the match and its ending got negative feedback, the botched move during the match has grabbed everyone’s attention now. 

In the match, Stratus tried to deliver a top rope hurricanrana, but couldn’t lift her feet up, resulting in an awkward spot between the two. While the two recovered and eventually ended up performing the spot, fans didn’t seem to take it lightly.

Ironically, this criticism comes around the time when WWE released its list of the greatest women’s superstars of all time, with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch taking the first and the third spot respectively. While fans trolled them on social media, it seems like Triple H might have had the last laugh.

Just a few weeks back, fans chided Triple H for the exclusion of the women’s matchup at SummerSlam. WWE Universe couldn’t understand the reasoning and continuously targeted The Game.

While he first answered the trolls with SummerSlam’s blockbuster PLE numbers, he seems to have won over some fans again.

Some fans trolled the botched spot and Stratus.

While a few questioned their decision to see this matchup at SummerSlam and asked them to go back to the performance center.

This fan in particular defended the King of Kings in their tweet.

It’s safe to assume that Lynch and Stratus failed to meet the lofty expectations of fans. But no bad days can put these athletes down, as they will surely bounce back in the future, proving their naysayers wrong.
