One of the recent most profitable deals that WWE closed was with Netflix. Monday Night Raw will be available on the streaming giant starting January 2025. This will go on for 10 years and Netflix will be paying over $5 billion to WWE. Following this mega deal, The Hollywood Reporter had the opportunity to interview some Netflix officials.
During the interview, the CCO of the OTT company was asked about her views on Vince McMahon‘s recent resignation from TKO and its subsidiaries. Bela Bajaria had a short yet effective reply.

Netflix CCO has already started seeing past Vince McMahon
The former CEO of WWE joined the TKO board of directors after his company was acquired by Endeavor in the latter half of 2023. After serving as the Executive Chairman for TKO for several months, McMahon resigned from all of his positions on January 26th, following a lawsuit filed against him.

While talking to Bela Bajaria, The Hollywood Reporter asked for her opinion on Vince McMahon’s situation, especially about his resignation from the company. Bajaria answered, “He’s gone. So he’s not there. He’s gone.” While some must have expected a long statement from her, the CCO of Netflix kept it short and effective.
Through her reply, we can understand that she is already looking past the event that has happened. While the CCO feels a certain way about this news, we can’t ignore the repercussions that TKO had to deal with after Vince McMahon announced his resignation from all his posts in the company.
