Days ago, WWE landed officially on the TKO era and fighters are paying the price. UFC and WWE, the two most eminent global juggernauts, were expected to make more profits with a unified business model. However, with this, the question of how the whole scenario will impact the stars individually has been rife as well.
The aftermath turned a few heads when WWE released a number of prized superstars; including Mustafa Ali, Shelton Benjamin, and others. The latest name to join the list is none other than Dolph Ziggler. The news of his departure was met with a lot of emotional farewells from fans and superstars, including former WWE star Trinity Fatu, aka Naomi. While her comment initially sounded weird to a fan, Fatu made her intention clear later on.

Following the footsteps of Dwayne Johnson, and John Cena, Impact Wrestling superstar Trinity Fatu stood by the 43-year-old released superstar.
Naomi sent out a positive face emoji (🥰) to her former peer to show solidarity amid this testing phase of life of the latter. However, one fan found it pretty offensive to put a positive emoji when Ziggler was in clear distress and called out the former WWE star on Twitter.
To appease him/her, Fatu herself clarified the message.
She wrote, ‘Bc I luv and support him always 🥰’

Fatu has found solid footing in Impact following an abrupt WWE walkout last year. So, she knows well that every ending is a new beginning, and it’s important to be positive in every circumstance.
Also, her message depicted her love for Ziggler regardless of his association with the world’s biggest wrestling promotion.
Moving ahead, most of the released wrestlers couldn’t even advocate against their firing because of a booking loophole.
WWE foreshadowed the releases via their booking choices
Vince McMahon is still the man who can overturn the release decision in the company. But superstars couldn’t even approach him as WWE slyly set the stage for their farewell. A tweet from Fightful revealed that most of the talent cut victims weren’t even getting booked.
In the case of Ziggler, he was not booked since his last match against JD McDonagh on May 29.

But despite carrying an unbooked status, WWE cut him unhesitantly when he asked for some time off. However, it will be interesting to see where Ziggler sets up his home next in wrestling. Hopefully, it will be a place that will allow him to showcase his talent and skill to the fullest.
