This SmackDown was not John Cena’s SmackDown. Despite making a stellar entrance to the ring in the opening segment, John Cena’s wish to get into a fight with The Bloodline was delayed.
However, Cena got his wish granted in the final minutes of the showdown when he rushed to save AJ Styles as the latter was attacked backstage by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. There was still some gas left in Cena’s tank as a non-telecasted segment saw him embroiled in a dark match with Montez Ford.
