On the Road to WrestleMania 40, fans have witnessed plenty of drama unfold. The addition of Dwayne Johnson has added to the already existing layered story of Cody Rhodes. In case you missed it, Dwayne Johnson has aligned himself with Roman Reigns and has joined the Bloodline. On top of that, he has sworn that he will not let Rhodes win this time as well. He declared all of that in a special segment on the 03/15 episode of SmackDown. But it looks like Rhodes does have a response to his threats this time.

Cody Rhodes has a comeback for Dwayne Johnson

This week’s episode of SmackDown featured a couple of dark matches after the show stopped airing. One such match featured the American Nightmare and Drew McIntyre. After the 38-year-old star defeated the Scottish Psychopath, he decided to have a conversation with the audience present there. The first thing he said was, “I missed the first part of the show. What happened?” This was a nod to Dwayne Johnson’s segment from earlier in the show.

In the musical segment, Johnson made things personal with his comments on Rhodes and Seth Rollins who is accompanying him on his journey to defeat Roman Reigns.

Johnson called out Becky Lynch, Rhodes’ mother, and even stated that Dusty Rhodes knew his son was weird after showing Stardust’s photo on screen.
